Yuck!

June 17th these photos were taken of the heart of my home.  Disgusting right?  And that wasn't even one of the worst days.

Looking at these photos makes me realize that our "heart" had heart disease/clogged arteries!  But we are on medication now and that medicine is courtesy of flylady.net/cozi.com.

Thank you for teaching me baby steps and giving me tools to remind myself of these steps every day.

The storm is passing

or maybe it's actually a hurricane and I am in the eye and about to have the worst happen.  Regardless, this song played on Pandora this morning and even though she sings of a day, it perfectly describes my week and now that a little bit of time has passed I am feeling stronger so I declare (probably foolishly) Bring on the rain!  Seriously - I never want it to metaphorically rain, but with constant Faith and unending prayers - I know I will make it through.  And physically speaking, you need rain to enjoy the awesome beauty of God's creations, whether they be flowers, trees, bees, people, fish, etc.  We ALL need the rain, and I am thankful for everything.  Actually, I almost just typed that we need the rain so that once the sun comes we can enjoy God's blessings, but that's so not true!  Not for me anyways.  Granted I am an Aquarius, but more over I love water and although I have never tried to "smell the roses", I am sure they still smell beautiful, rain or shine, and therefore I am declaring that no one should wait for the sun to enjoy life.  March right out an into that storm or shower or hurricane and have a blessed day!  Thank you God for your presence in my life and for life you have blessed me to enjoy, rain or shine! ;-)

"Bring On The Rain"(feat. Tim McGraw)

Another day has almost come and gone
Can't imagine what else could go wrong
Sometimes I'd like to hide away somewhere and lock the door
A single battle lost but not the war ('cause)

[Chorus:]
Tomorrow's another day
And I'm thirsty anyway
So bring on the rain

It's almost like the hard times circle 'round
A couple drops and they all start coming down
Yeah, I might feel defeated,
And I might hang my head
I might be barely breathing - but I'm not dead, no ('cause)

[Chorus]

I'm not gonna let it get me down
I'm not gonna cry
And I'm not gonna lose any sleep tonight ('cause)

Tomorrow's another day
And I am not afraid
So bring on the rain

[Chorus]

Bring on the rain; bring on the rain

Bring on the rain

Bring on, bring on, the rain

PS - I definitely cried, and that's okay. =)
