Tomorrow

Garth Brooks says it never comes, but when my alarm beeps, tomorrow will become today, and my world may forever be altered. Or I might start my period. Only time will tell, so I document this great wonder. Because no matter how many notes I took about all the different sensations and bodily actions I have been experincing lately, only a first morning urine home pregnancy test result is going to foretell of my future. Many signs point to positive and one, the fact that I am "fixed", points to the contrary. And even if the answer is positive, it's not even close to over. But that is for a different tomorrow. As for today....tonight....I need sleep. Tomorrow is going to be here before I know it!

21 days of gratitude

I started it today. I researched thankfulness around 19 months ago. I found quotes, read articles and even heard a sermon about the overwhelming power of gratitude and with Thanksgiving and Christmas just around the corner, I thought up my own plan of thanks. I decided to focus on my family first and foremost with a note to a different special, dear friend every day/couple days. Today I only thanked Jaime and Sabrina so far. And it's late so Joseph and Joe may have to wait until tomorrow.

Old age is setting in, I think

Peeing in the middle of the night, that's a sign of old right? And pregnancy too, but I got fixed on 4.9.10, so that can't be it, RIGHT???? I won't even go down that road.....today. =)

And my nails. They remind me of my Nunna's. They are very hard and strong, for the most part. But when they do break they are almost like rigid, rough edged pieces of hard plastic (think: tupperware that the Uncle sold in Napoleon Dynomite).

Well enough about that. It's time to start another glorious day!

Thank You God, and I am not just saying that

I saw this and stole it (with God's permission) on my friends facebook post.

I love it!  I REALLY LOVE IT!!!  And more over - I LIVE IT!!  I am not lying.  Every night we do prayers and we always ask for blessings for "everybody in the world, especially Mommy, Daddy, Joseph, Jaime, Sabrina, Niki and all of our pets, friends, family, co-workers, bosses, classmates, teachers, coaches and teammates and we hope everyone has a wonderful day tomorrow."  Every night without fail.  We do it.  We pray for everyone.  Well now I shall add the words "Thank you God for everybody in the world....and we hope God blesses everyone and that they all have a wonderful day tomorrow."  Okay so is doesn't roll off the tongue that well - we'll tweak it.  Actually tonight with Joseph we did the regular prayer and at the very end I added And Thank you God for all of them.  That worked but there's really more - need to thank him for beautiful days, and rainy days, and our jobs, and our home, and the food, (which technically is covered by Grace) our HEALTH.  We are just soooo very blessed!!!  Thank You God!  Truthfully when I have gotten emails from Jaime's cheerleading coach I have thanked God more than once because our weekend will be coming up and sure enough that's the weekend she's "off" and I do love our oldest spending time with us.

I'm off to bed - early TBall game at 9am tomorrow and I think we are going to Golden Corral at 7am-ish for breakfast first.

Thank You God, again, for everyone and everything.  With You we are/have/can do everything and without You.......nothing.  Amen
